Did you know that Slovakia’s territory was occupied by the Celts in the past? The Havránok Open-air Archaeological Museum offers proof. Archaeological research conducted in this area shows that several Celtic handicraft and agrarian villages used to be situated here in the past. Visitors will find renovated residential, fortification and sacral buildings coming from the late Iron Age, the early Roman period and the Middle Ages. The Open-air Archaeological Museum is accessible from the villages of Bobrovník and Vlachy.
Did you know that... ?During the season, the Havránok Open-air Archaeological Museum provides an opportunity to see eye-catching animations depicting the life of the Celts as well as ritual sacrifices to Celtic deities.
