This natural gem, which lies at the Slovak-Polish border, is the highest peak of the Orava Beskydy range. It belongs among the most favourite sightseeing spots. Quite a demanding hike with an elevation of almost one thousand metres will examine the strength of each visitor. The climb takes about 3.5 hours. From the top you can see the entire West Tatras, Choč Mountains and Malá Fatra. Babia hora belongs among the most popular tourist routes. The “Oravská Polhora – Slaná voda” chalet is the starting point.
